HCTD Business Meeting


The annual HCTD Business meeting will be on Saturday, November 17, from 3:30-4:45 p.m. at the Chicago Hilton Marquette Room.

Agenda items include an overview of this year’s convention, awards to the top papers, reports from the NCA Legislative Council, information about the 2008 convention, discussion of items of interest, and the election of officers.

This year, we will be electing two new Co-Vice Chairs—Membership, as well as a Student Representative. 

Those elected to Co-Vice Chairs—Membership will follow a five year officer rotation plan:

  • Year One:  Co-Vice Chairs—Membership

  • Year Two:  Co-Vice Chairs—Publication
  • Year Three:  Co-Vice Chairs—Planning (Convention planners)

  • Year Four:  Co-Chairs (and possibly Representatives to the Legislative Assembly)

  • Year Five: Past Co-Chairs (and Representatives to the Legislative Assembly).
